Choppy Trading - Storm in Gulf and its Affect on Natural Gas Trading

Tropical Weather Outlook and Energy Management 

After some choppy trading, Natural Gas futures are pulling back slightly. A shift in forecasts are calling for less intense temperatures for the first two weeks of August.

Regarding activity in the tropics, conditions are conducive for gradual development of a tropical cyclone (60% probability during the next 48 hours). There is still some disagreement on computer models’ path, but a high pressure system in the Gulf could push it south of the producing region.
